It is easy to spend lots of time in Trulia Voices. Between answering questions from our knowledge-thirsty users, sharing local insights and photos, or reading and writing blog posts, there’s plenty of things to keep you busy. But did you know you can set up email alerts for the type of content you’re most interested in?
Trulia Voices email alerts can help make your online marketing efforts more efficient. You can create an alert for any of the types of content in Trulia Voices, and you can break them down by category, type, or location. For example, a mortgage lender in Chicago can sign up to be notified any time there’s a question about financing only in Chicago. Likewise, if an agent wants to follow comments on a particular blog, an alert can be easily set up for that.
How to set up an alert:
- Visit Trulia Voices <link: http://www.trulia.com/voices>, then search for the location you’re interested in
- Select which type of content you’d like to follow (blogs, Q&A, etc)
- Then select the appropriate category (local info, home buying, etc.)
- The last step is to click the gold “Follow” button in the right-hand module
Specific Thread alerts:
If you find a particular thread interesting and want to stay updated on new comments, click the “Follow Question” link under the question.
Specific Blog alerts:
If you want to follow a particular blog, navigate to that blog, and click “Email Alerts” to be notified about comments on that particular post or to hear about any new posts by that author.
Maintaining your Alerts:
To adjust the frequency of your alerts or to delete them, navigate to your “Email Preferences” page from the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of any page. Click “Edit” in the Trulia Voices section to display and modify any of the alerts you have created.
